Isaiah has been in the hospitality industry for over 6 years. Originally from Ontario, California, Isaiah’s appreciation and love of food was born out of his family’s commitment to provide healthy from scratch cuisine for each other and the community. This passion ultimately led to a successful Thorn Family catering business and Isaiah’s desire to pursue food and beverage as a career.

Isaiah’s first position in the hospitality industry was with the revered Chick-fil-a quick service concept. He was originally hired on as a customer service associate, but quickly moved up the ranks and eventually into their highly selective management program. As the Operations Manager, Isaiah oversaw a team of more than fifty and managed one of the busiest Chick-fil-a concepts in Southern California. Isaiah also served as a corporate grand opener, and was entrusted with the responsibility to travel all over the country establishing new Chick-fil-a concepts.

After his tenure with Chick-fil-a, Isaiah worked for a couple additional years in the hospitality sector before joining the team at The Goat and Vine as the Store Manager. Isaiah said, “It was a natural fit to join the team at The Goat and Vine. Like my mother, Brad and Alicia made it their mission to prepare food from scratch and with the best ingredients.”

Isaiah is a level 1 sommelier with the Court of Masters Sommeliers and is currently studying to become a level 2 certified sommelier, one of the few in Temecula Valley. Isaiah has also completed his first two years of general education at Mt. San Jacinto College and will pursue his Bachelor of Arts degree in Hospitality Management from the esteemed Collins College at California Polytechnic State University, Pomona.

When not working, Isaiah loves to rock climb, rollerblade, and spend time with his newlywed wife who is beginning her career as a teacher in Temecula Valley.
