THE NIGHTINGALE

It is with much anticipation and great pleasure that we announce the introduction of a new restaurant concept in Old Town Temecula in late summer of 2017. Brad and Alicia Trevithick, formerly of Great Harvest Bread Company and currently of The Goat and Vine restaurant, bring their latest creation to the corner of Mercedes and 2nd street in the beautiful Truax development.

Keeping in theme with their original Aesop’s Fable inspired restaurant, The Goat and Vine, the Trevithicks embark on their new journey to bring the city of Temecula another completely original concept, The Nightingale.

The Nightingale name was inspired by the original Aesop’s Fable, “The Nightingale and The Sparrow.” The theme of the fable is centered around the idea that we should never stop in our pursuit of knowledge and self-development. It is this idea of constant growth that has led the Trevithicks to open their second location in Old Town Temecula.

The Nightingale will remain true to the foundational principles of which The Goat and Vine has built its reputation- honest food made from scratch every single day. However, in this concept, the Trevithicks plan to elevate their game by bringing Temecula its first “Wood Fired California Modern” concept, focusing on wood fired entrees and pizzas, handmade pastas, and locally sourced produce, all being prepared on their fully visible wood fired grill and oven.

New to this restaurant, The Nightingale will feature a full bar and specialize in hand crafted cocktails that focus on incorporating wood fired elements into a truly original cocktail program.

The wine list will be curated by General Manager and Sommelier, Nathan Rivera, with selections sourced from throughout California, the Pacific Northwest, and select Old World and New World regions.

The Nightingale will also feature a one of a kind beer program that focuses on selections that are both diverse and creative. The management team at The Nightingale plan to source specialty beer from throughout the country and bring individually sourced options to The Nightingale clientele.

The Trevithicks maintain that this next step could not have been possible without the overwhelming support that The Goat and Vine has received from the local community and from the commitment and dedication of their great team.
